Western Military District's military aircraft brigade started tactical flight training in Pskov region. The main goal of the training is to check crews’ readiness to perform flight and special tasks of the purpose. Also this training includes practicing the new tactical methods and methods of action with full use of the combat capabilities of the aircraft.

Mi-8AMTSH and Ka-52 helicopter crews will perform shooting at the specialized range and will practice the use of aircraft for supporting infantry units from the sky during the exercise. Combat shooting at group targets, which emit military hardware and infantry of imaginary enemy, will be held in daytime and in the night with the use of the night vision devices.

More than 50 pilots and up to 20 helicopters are engaged in this training.
