Today Sheremetyevo airport served the first flight of a new partner — the Iranian airline Taban Air. Seasonal program of scheduled Teheran-Moscow-Teheran flights will last from 01.06.17 to 21.09.17.

Passengers of Taban Air will be handled in Terminal F. Flights are performed on A310-300 (capacity 242 seats) on Thursdays, arrival at 8.05 Moscow time, departure at 9.50 Moscow time.

Sheremetyevo Airport expects substantial growth of passenger and cargo traffic between Russia and Iran due to simplification of the visa regime for group tourists, promotion of Russia on the Iranian tourism market, as well as the prospect of canceling visas. According to Rosstat, 67 thousand of Iranians visited Russia in 2016, which is 89% more than a year ago.
