According to the state defence order, in 2017 it is planned to transfer for CMD’s adoption more than 1,000 units of armaments and military equipment.
It was said by the District’s Commander Colonel-General Vladimir Zarudnitsky in his summing up of the main results of the winter training period.
According to the Commander, formations and military units in the Urals, Volga and Siberia will adopt Ka-52 helicopters, S-400 ‘Triumph’ antiaircraft missile systems, ‘Pantsir-S’ anti-aircraft missile-gun systems, ‘Tornado-S’ multiple-launch rocket systems, ‘Pion’ and ‘Msta-SM’ self-propelled howitzers, ‘Tyulpan’ 240-mm mortars, armoured and automobile vehicles.
