In Kamchatka, servicemen of the Marine Infantry formation’s assault company jumped with parachutes for the first time in the summer period.
"Black berets" landed with weapons and with additional equipment at altitudes of 900 and 1500 metres. Each marine was to land in the specified square with the size of 600-600 metres.
In total, about 100 jumps were carried out, 30 of them by young servicemen of the new conscription. The landing of personnel was supported by a naval airfield’s Mi-8 helicopters.
