On 15 June, Tu-142 anti-submarine aircraft of the Northern Fleet conducted an air tactical exercise over the Barents Sea. In the sky, pilots practised the tasks of air long-range anti-submarine screening of ships and vessels of the imaginary unit.
Following the scenario of the exercise, the aviators interacted with the crew of one of the Northern Fleet’s nuclear-powered submarines, which carried out combat training tasks at fleet ranges in the Barents Sea.
After completing the flight plan, Tu-142s came back to their permanent airfield.
