Pilots of the operational-tactical aviation of the Western Military District’s Air Force and Air Defence association, based in the Voronezh Region, began working out mutual actions with the Baltic Fleet's Naval Aviation fighters.

During the exercise, the Su-34 multifunctional fighter-bombers flew from the Voronezh Region to one of the operative airfields in the Kaliningrad Region. Further, Su-34 crews will have to practise mutual actions with crews of the Baltic Fleet's naval aircraft of various types.

As part of the training tasks, the air group will practise in intercepting various air targets, including simulating cruise missiles and unmanned vehicles of the simulated enemy, and also carry out firing and bombing in the sea ranges of the Baltic Fleet.
