The Russian military aircraft returned to the airfield after the joint exercise "Dushanbe-Anti-Terror – 2017" in Tajikistan.
The Russian pilots successfully completed the flight task in the area of Tajik-Afghan border, practicing the landing of special forces, hardware and military cargo, missile and bomb strikes on targets in difficult terrain.
The flight crews also provided air support to motorized rifle units of the 201 Russian military base and the personnel of power structures of Tajikistan in the course of solving the task of fight the conditional illegal armed groups in the highlands.
The Russian side sent 30 planes and helicopters on the exercise of the "Dushanbe-Anti-Terror", which was coordinated by the CIS anti-terrorist center.
