Marines of the Caspian Flotilla conducted more than 1,000 parachute jumps within first half of 2017.
Two assault units were involved in the parachute training. By the way, more than 20 Marines have performed parachute jumps for the first time.
The jumps were carried out from Mi-8 helicopters from the altitude of about 800 meters and day- and nighttime.
The exercise was held at the Privolzhsky range in the Astrakhan region.
