UTair Aviation 3-month RAS net loss increased

RAS net loss of UTair Aviation for Q1 2017 increased 2.12 times to RUB 2.954 billion from RUB 1.395 billion for the same period in 2016, the company reported.

Revenue decreased by 1.15% to RUB 9.68 billion from RUB 9.793 billion, sales loss grew by 86.74% to RUB 2.614 billion from RUB 1.4 billion, loss before tax 2.01 times to RUB 3.7 billion from RUB 1.842 billion.

UTair Aviation is the core company of UTair Group comprising both operators of aircraft (airplanes and helicopters) and companies providing maintenance and repair, personnel training, catering, ticket sales services).

Being one of Russia's major air carriers, the company provides passenger transportation services both domestically and internationally. UTair operates Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-400, Boeing 767-200, Boeing 737-800, ATR 72-500 airliners. The total company's total fleet exceeds 60 aircraft flying to 150, including 70 unique air routes.

In Q1 2017, UTair increased its passenger flow by 21.2% year-on-year to 1.48 million.

IFRS net loss of UTair Aviation for H1 2016 decreased 2.59 times to RUB 684.945 million from RUB 1.773 billion for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 13.55% to RUB 33.706 billion from RUB 29.684 billion, profit from operations decreased by 43.74% to RUB 1.702 billion from RUB 3.026 billion, loss before tax 2.02 times to RUB 1.033 billion from RUB 2.087 billion.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of UTair Aviation for 2016 was RUB 589.728 million against a loss of RUB 18.426 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 12.07% to RUB 55.662 billion from RUB 49.665 billion, sales profit was RUB 1.672 billion against a loss of RUB 2.423 billion in 2015, pre-tax profit amounted to RUB 917.721 million against a loss of RUB 21.97 billion.
