The group of Su-27 multipurpose fighters of the Baltic Fleet's Naval Aviation airbase conducted a planned training air battle and intercepted an assigned air target over the Kaliningrad Region.

The crews also worked out pair piloting elements and flying in close combat order.

Since the current year’s beginning, naval pilots have performed about 30 flights to provide support for various aircraft, as well as surface ships of foreign states over the Baltic Sea. More than 30 pilots of the aviation unit have improved their qualifications by completing qualification flights in various hydrometeorological conditions.
