More than 25 training activities and 10 exercises took place within the Joint CIS Air Defence System

Within 22 years, 25 command-and-staff training activities and 10 exercises have been held within the Joint CIS Air Defence System.

In course of training activities, the servicemen are inspecting air defence alert shifts, practice detecting aircraft violating air space borders, and provide assistance to distressed air crews.

Crews of Su-27, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-24, Su-24, Tu-22, Tu-160, Tu-95, Ka-27, Mi-8, and A-50 aircraft as well as air defence and radiotechnical units took part in the combat training activities.
