RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC for Q1 2017 grew by 53.54% to RUB 145.277 million from RUB 117.595 million for the same period in 2016, the company reported.
Revenue increased by 19.7% to RUB 20.81 billion from RUB 17.385 billion, sales profit by 4.24% to RUB 454.577 million from RUB 436.076 million, pre-tax profit by 23.54% to RUB 145.277 million from RUB 117.595 million.
Siberia Airlines, PJSC (tax number: 5448100656) is one of the largest airlines of Russia. Major shareholders of Siberia Airlines are: CJSC S7 Group (63.3%) and the Government of Russia (25.5%). The airline's fleet consists of 40 aircraft: 20 Airbus A319 airliners, 17 A320 airliners, one A310 airplane and two long-haul Boeing 767-300 airliners.
The company's branches and representative offices are operating in 37 cities of Russia, 13 cities of the CIS countries and 14 in other countries.
In Q1 2017, the passenger flow of S7 Airlines increased by 0.2% year-on-year to 1.968 million.
According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC for 2016 increased 3.14 times to RUB 2.896 billion from RUB 922.896 million the year before. Revenue increased by 31.5% to RUB 108.111 billion from RUB 82.215 billion, sales profit by 56.92% to RUB 3.886 billion from RUB 2.477 billion, pre-tax profit 3.35 times to RUB 4.468 billion from RUB 1.333 billion.
