Vnukovo airport reduced 3-month RAS net loss 2.08 times

RAS net loss of JSC Airport Vnukovo for Q1 2017 decreased 2.08 times to RUB 253.485 million from RUB 527.25 million for the same period in 2016, the company reported.

Revenue increased by 37.71% to RUB 1.332 billion from RUB 967.104 million, sales loss decreased 2.56 times to RUB 194.302 million from RUB 497.396 million, loss before tax 2.01 times to RUB 325.83 million from RUB 653.611 million.

JSC Airport Vnukovo (tax number: 7732019644) is one of the largest air transportation complexes of Russia annually handling more than 150,000 flights of Russian and foreign airline companies. The flight geography covers the whole of Russia as well as the CIS countries, Western Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. JSC International Airport Vnukovo owns 98.4008% of Vnukovo shares.

In the first quarter of 2017, Vnukovo airport increased its passenger flow by almost 1 million to 3.224 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net loss of JSC Airport Vnukovo for 2016 decreased by 36.24% to RUB 1.152 billion from RUB 1.807 billion the year before. Revenue decreased by 13.57% to RUB 5.358 billion from RUB 6.199 billion, sales loss was RUB 444.363 million against a profit of RUB 147.381 million in 2015, loss before tax decreased by 26.32% to RUB 1.393 billion from RUB 1.89 billion.
