Pilots of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered scientists and cargos to the Barneo station.
Crew of Il-76MD aviation division has landed on an aircraft in the Murmansk region, loaded the cargos and dropped the materiel on a floating ice floe using special parachute systems.
In total, about 100 tons of cargos, including patrol, tractors, tents, generators, food products and other material. The aircraft transported 20 scientists as well.
