Earlier, media reported that the Tajik aviation authorities will impose restrictions on flights for Ural Airlines from Zhukovsky airport to Tajikistan’s Dushanbe and Khujand at 10:30 am local time (08:30 am Moscow time) since April 6th. This should be a response to the Russian authorities’ restrictions, as regards Somon Air’s flights.
As of 08:30 am Moscow time on April 3, 2017, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation introduced a ban on the number of flights to Russia for Tajikistan’s Somon Air. The Ministry decided to restrict the airlines’ flights in response to the disagreement of Tajik aviation authorities to agree in full the flights for Yamal Airlines from Zhukovsky.
