Rossiya airlines increased 3-month passenger flow 2.3 times

In January-March 2017, the passenger flow of Rossiya airlines increased 2.3 times year-on-year to 1.997 million, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency informed. 

The passenger turnover increased 3.2 times to 4.841 billion passenger-kilometers. The seat load factor grew by 2.8 p.p. to 76.8%. 

Cargo and mail handling increased 3.6 times to 6,615 tonnes, the cargo turnover 8 times to 29.585 million tonne-kilometers.

Rossiya airlines JSC (tax number: 7810814522) based in St. Petersburg accounts for about 40% of all air conveyance operations from the Pulkovo airport. Since 2011, Rossiya Airlines has been part of the Aeroflot group of companies. The company's fleet comprises An-148, A319/A320, Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

The principal beneficiaries of Rossiya airlines are: PJSC Aeroflot (75% less 1 share) and the government of St. Petersburg (25% plus 1 share).

In 2016, Rossiya airlines increased its passenger flow by 70.5% year-on-year to 8.099 million.
