Domodedovo increased 3-month passenger flow by 4.4%

In January-March 2017, the passenger flow of Domodedovo airport increased by 4.4% year-on-year to 6 million, the company's press service informed. 

The passenger flow on domestic air routes was 3.5 million, 1% above the result achieved in Q1 2016, the passenger flow on international air routes was 2.4 million (+10%). Freight traffic increased by 12.6% to 34,742 tonnes.

In March 2017, the airport served 2.1 million passengers (+7.8% year-on-year).

Domodedovo International Airport Corporation (tax number: 5009026330) is the largest airport of Russia accounting for 46% of the total air passenger traffic in Moscow. It operates flights of 83 airlines to 239 destinations worldwide, among them 84 unique destinations for Moscow and Moscow region. The airport maintains partnership with 40 airlines from outside the FSU, 27 Russian and 16 CIS airlines.

In January-February 2017, the passenger flow at Domodedovo airport grew by 2.7% year-on-year to 3.91 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net loss of Domodedovo International Airport Corporation for 2016 was RUB 50.615 million against a profit of RUB 66.247 million the year before. Revenue increased by 10.7% to RUB 4.404 billion from RUB 3.979 billion, sales loss was RUB 10.07 million against a profit of RUB 335.874 million in 2015, loss before tax amounted to RUB 46.006 million against a profit of RUB 46.929 million.
