Crews of Mi-24 and Mi-8MTSh helicopters of the army aviation formation of the Russian airbase in Armenia are conducting night training flights.

In course of the flight tactic exercise, pilots of the Southern MD practice covering and supporting motorized rifle units of the military base.

Piloting and technical staff are to meet more than 50 standards in detecting and identifying objects in the air, moving and stationary ground targets.

More than 100 servicemen and about 50 pieces of special military and aviation hardware are involved.
