The Moscow’s Domodedovo InternationalAirporthas summed up the monthly punctuality contest among airline partners of the airport. In March 2017, the most accurate air carriers include S7 Airlines, NordStar, RusLine, UVT AERO, Lufthansa, Air Moldova, Austrian Airlines and Etihad Airways, according to the Airport’s Press Service.

To determine the winner of this competition, all airlines have been divided into eight categories, depending on the frequency of flights and the maximum take-off weight of their aircraft.

“In March, S7 Airlines was the most punctual airline in the first group with its result of 2,891 exact flights. The second-class air carrier includes NordStar with its 171 flight without deviation from the flight schedule. RusLine operated 454 flights without delays and became the most accurate in the third category of airlines. In the fourth category, UVT AERO was the most punctual one, as it carried out 55 flights strictly according to the flight schedule in March 2017”, the message reads.

Participants of the following four groups included foreign air carriers operating at Moscow’s Domodedovo. The following air carrier are the  winners of this competition in their categories: Lufthansa (141 exact flights), Air Moldova (89 exact scheduled flights), Austrian Airlines (52 punctual flights) and Etihad Airways (31 flights without delays).

Flightstats international agency publishes the international rating of the punctuality for air carriers on the monthly basis. The airlines-partners of the Moscow’s Domodedovo Airportregularly take the top lines of  this rating. In 2016, the Top-ten most accurate carriers of the world included such airlines, as Iberia, Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways, Austrian Airlines and Singapore Airlines”, the Airport noted.
