In the Q1 2017, the passenger traffic of the Moscow’sVnukovo International Airportamounted to 3.224 million people, which is by approximately 45% or 1 million more passengers, as compared to the same period last year.
According to APA-Economics, this follows from the airport report. Passenger traffic of this airport grew by 38.3% in annual terms in March 2017, coming to 1.136 million people. Vnukovo also provided servicing 12,672 flights in March.
“The growth of the number of flights in connection with the far abroad was provided by the Rossiya Airlines, which resumed flights to Paris and Nice in March, with the CIS – due to UTair, which increased the frequency of flights to Yerevan, Armenia, and AZAL, Azerbaijan, which expanded the air route network, as regards its flights to Azerbaijan’s Ganja and Gabala”.
