Unit of the Ivanovo Airborne formation has arrived at the area of the joint Russia-Belarus exercise

Russian paratroopers have arrived at the area of the joint Russia-Belarus exercise. The main stage of the exercise is held at the Losvido range near Vitebsk on April 1-5.

A reinforced unit (more than 100 men) of the Ivanovo Airborne formation will participate in the exercise.

The military servicemen will carry out airborne assault operation with combat firing from standard armament and military hardware.

The exercise is held in accordance to the International Activity Plan of the Russian Defence Ministry for 2017.
