Defense Ministry denies reports of downed Russian military helicopter in Syria

The Russian Defense Ministry has dismissed rumors a Russian helicopter has been shot down in Syria.

"All aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Force in the Syrian Arab Republic are at their bases or involved in routine missions. Claims made by terrorist-controlled media sources about a Russian helicopter allegedly shot down have nothing to do with reality," a spokesman for Russia’s center for the reconciliation of warring factions in Syria told the media.
