Radiotechnical units of the Western military district held tactic special exercise.
Radiotechnical units of the Western MD practiced detecting and tracking conditional air targets at the distance of 1.5-3 kilometers, locking on low flying targets at the altitude of 40 meters and transferring their coordinates to the missile air defence centre armed with S-300 air defence complexes.
More than 500 servicemen took part in the exercise. About 130 pieces of special hardware, including Nebo and Kasta radar complexes, were involved.
