At the Zavelichye range in the Pskov region, in course of the training for the joint tactical exercise, Russian and Belarusian paratroopers held firing, tactical and airborne training.

In course of the training, the main focus is given to cooperation and joint tactical operations.

In course of the airborne trainings the units of the Russian and Belarusian Armed Forces were airdropped from Il-73 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the altitude of 800 meters on the Kislovo landing area in the Pskov region.

Joint Russian-Belarusian tactical exercise will be the first international exercise of the Russian airborne forces in 2017. This exercise will be held from February 28 to March 4 at the base of 76 air assault division of the Russian airborne forces in Pskov region.
