In 2017, servicemen of the Russian Airborne troops will perform more than 230,000 parachute jumps. They will perform jumps from military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, including An-2, An-26, Mi-8 and Il-76.
The servicemen will use of parachute units will use D-10 systems, special and reconnaissance units will use Arbalet-2 systems, sports teams will use Malva-24 parachutes.
Moreover, they will also drop about 150 military vehicles and weapons using special airborne systems.
