Emergency Ministry’s jet carrying out medevac of seriously-ill citizens from Kaliningrad to Simferopol and from Simferopol to Moscow

A Sukhoi Superjet 100 owned by the Russian Emergency Ministry has taken off today from the Moscow airport of Vnukovo to transport a seriously-ill child from the city of Kaliningrad to a hospital in Simferopol and 4 patients, including 3 seriously-ill children, from the city of Simferopol to hospitals in Moscow.

All the patients are in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The flying hospital is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, ventilators and cardiac monitors allowing providing medical care aboard.

During the flight the patients are going to be accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team, All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and a psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.

Upon arrival in Simferopol, one of the children is going to be transported to the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital, while other three children and 1 adult are going to be delivered to the Bakulev National Medical Cardiovascular Surgery Research Center and the health Ministry’s Vishnevsky Surgery Institute in Moscow.
