The first sample of the new Russian MC-21 aircraft with installed inside the cabin is planned to be manufactured in September next year. This was stated by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation Denis Manturov, TASS reports.
According to the minister, the demonstration sample will be used for exchibitions.
Manturov said that a second sample of MC-21 will be ready by March-April next year, and the third sample with salon, will be assembled by September 2018.
At present, the MC-21 aircraft is at the stage of development and testing. In May 2017, it was made its first flight. The beginning of the foreign deliveries of the aircraft is scheduled for 2020, obtaining a type certificate and launching the series for the coming year.
