Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet carries out medical evacuation of gravely ill patient from Grozny to Moscow

Russian Emergencies Ministry’s An-148 jet has successfully carried out a medical evacuation from the city of Grozny to Moscow of a gravely ill woman, which required urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical treatment.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet is rigged with modern equipment and special medical module, breathing apparatus and cardiomonitors, which allow rendering medical aid during the flight.

Medical specialists from Tsentrospas Team accompanied the patient during the flight.

Upon arriving to Moscow, the patient was delivered to A.V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery of the Russian Health Ministry for specialized medical treatment.
