Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet carries out medevac of gravely ill woman from Ulyanovsk to Moscow

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Antonov An-148 jet is carrying out a medical evacuation of a gravely ill woman, who is in need of highly-qualified, high-tech medical aid, from the town of Ulyanovsk to Moscow.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s plane is rigged with specialized medical modules and modern equipment, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors that allow rendering medical aid during the flight.

Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Team of the Emergencies Ministry and the Zashchhita All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center of the Russian Health Ministry will accompany the patients during the flight.

Upon arriving to Moscow, one child will be delivered to the Burnazyan State Research Center of the Russian Federation – Federal Medical Biophysical Center for specialized treatment.
