On December 14, the representatives of the Technical Management and State Commission on Baikonur cosmodrome issued a decision on readiness of the rocket and space complex consisting of manned spacecraft Soyuz МS-07 and launch vehicle Soyuz-FG for roll-out and erection on the launch pad.
In the course of the day RSC Energia specialists successfully performed a set of process operations on the final assembly of the rocket and space complex: the nose assembly with the spacecraft was mated to the third stage of the rocket in the integration and checkout facility of launch vehicles.
The launch vehicle and Soyuz MS-07 roll-out from the integration and checkout facility and its erection on the launch pad of cosmodrome Baikonur will take place tomorrow on December 15.
The launch of Soyuz MS-07 with the crew of the next long-duration expedition to the International Space Station is scheduled for December 17, 2017 at 10:21 Moscow Time from Launch Pad No.1 (Gagarin’s launch pad).
ROSCOSMOS cosmonaut Anton SHKAPLEROV, NASA astronaut Scott TINGLE and JAXA astronaut Norishige KANAI are crewmembers of the ISS-54/55 Expedition.
