Crews of MiG-29SMT fighters arrived in the Astrakhan region f after performing tasks on eliminating terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Deputy Commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces Lieutenant General Sergei Dronov, representatives of the Yunarmiya movement, veterans, and relatives met the pilots.

Lieutenant General Sergei Dronov congratulated the pilots and expressed his gratitude for successful task performance.

On December 11, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, ordered the withdrawal of troops.
