Missile crews of the Central Military District that will assume combat alert duty in Volga region, have carried out four launches from the new S-400 Triumph surface-to-air missile systems at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region. Earlier, they received one regimental set.

According to the exercise concept, the crews were to simultaneously defeat several Kaban multi-purpose targets, which simulated ballistic air targets. Subdivisions coped with the task getting excellent marks.

Firing exercises were the final stage of the retraining for S-400 antiaircraft missile systems. In the near future, subdivisions will arrive to the place of deployment in the Volga region and will be put on alert duty.
