The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has sent today a Sukhoi Superjet 100 to carry out a medical evacuation of an adult and a child from Moscow and Vladikavkaz to Tomsk and Tyumen.
Both patients are need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
The jet is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, a ventilator and cardiomonitors allowing providing medical care aboard.
During the flight the patients are going to be accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team, All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and a psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
The patients are going to be transported to hospitals in Tomsk and Tyumen to get all necessary medical aid.
