Fourteen spy planes were spotted patrolling Russia’s western, Arctic and eastern borders in the past week, a newspaper affiliated with the country’s Defense Ministry said Friday. This writes by Sputnik.
The infographic published in the Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) newspaper showed that Russian planes were scrambled five times to chase off reconnaissance aircraft. It did not come to trespasses.
Nine foreign aircraft were detected on the western border, two on the Arctic and two on the southwestern stretch of the border and one on the eastern flank.
Additionally, three ships were seen patrolling Russian maritime borders during the same period.
