The Special Forces units located have performed more than 17,000 jumps since the beginning of the year in Krasnodar Krai, Southern Military District.

The airborne operations were carried out from the Mi-8AMTSh helicopters from altitudes of 600-800 meters. Paratroopers jumped full-packed and with standard weapons.

The troops operated the D-10 and Arbalet-2 parachute systems to land on different pads located on the territory of military district by day and at night.

During the airborne training, servicemen also were airdropping military cargos.
