The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has sent today a Sukhoi Superjet 100 to carry out medical evacuation of three seriously-ill children from Simferopol and Grozny to Nizhny Novgorod.
The patients are in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
The jet is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, a ventilator and cardiomonitors allowing providing medical care aboard.
During the flight the patients are going to be accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team, All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and a psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
In Nizhny Novgorod, the patients are going to be transferred to the Volga Area Federal Medical Research Center of the Russian Healthcare Ministry.
