The new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner operated by Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines landed October, 31 at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Boeing 787-8 (capacity of 211 seats) will service the route Beijing-Moscow-Beijing from Terminal E twice a week in the winter schedule: Tuesday and Saturday. Arrival time is 20:10 MSK, departure time is 21:55 MSK. Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner became the first aircraft of this type operating regular flights from Sheremetyevo to Beijing.

Hainan Airlines is a highly regarded and an established partner of Sheremetyevo Airport. The first flight on the mentioned route was completed in 2009. In 2017 passenger traffic almost doubled since 2009. Hainan Airlines has already carried around 70 million passengers from January 1, 2017, which is a 15% increase comparing to the same period last year.
Since the passenger traffic between Sheremetyevo and China is growing at a very fast pace, comfort and efficiency of the aircraft are crucial aspects of service quality. Currently seven Chinese carriers operate flights to and from Sheremetyevo.

The Counselor of Embassy of China Mr. Li Jingyuan said: “I believe that Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner of Hainan Airlines will make Beijing-Moscow flights more pleasant and convenient. Passengers will benefit from upgraded level of service and in this way will contribute to the improvement of passenger traffic between China and Russia. More and more people are traveling between our countries every year”.
General Manager of Moscow Office of Hainan Airlines Mr. Zhang Tie said: “Moscow is the center of politics, economy and culture of Russia. The city attracts more and Chinese tourists, willing to discover Russian culture. We started to serve route Beijing-Moscow with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to further improve the quality of flights between China and Russia. It is not only the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner between China and Russia, but it is also the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on regular routes to and from Sheremetyevo International Airport”.
