S7 Airlines and Qatar Airways have extended the code-share agreement

S7 Airlines, a oneworld® global airline alliance member, announces that the terms and conditions of the code-share agreement with Qatar Airways, its partner airline, have been extended. In accordance with the arrangements, the airlines will carry out joint flights to Australia, countries of Asia and Africa.

Under the agreement, the passengers now have the opportunity to travel to the cities of southern Australia — Sydney, Adelaide and Perth — on joint flights of S7 Airlines and Qatar Airways. Flights are carried out with a connection at the international airport of Doha (Qatar).

Moreover, the airlines begin to operate joint direct flights from St. Petersburg to Doha. The airlines have calculated the time that is sufficient to change the plane at Doha Airport when travelling from St. Petersburg to Bangkok, Singapore, Perth, as well as to the islands of Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

“The extension of the agreement gives S7 Airlines the opportunity to offer its passengers from different cities of Russia new uncommon directions for travel. For example, now, passengers of S7 Airlines departing from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Doha on direct flights will be able to fly to the cities of Australia with a convenient connection. Calendar winter in the Northern Hemisphere is the most suitable time to visit the southern regions of the distant green continent,” notes Igor Veretennikov, the Commerce Director of S7 Group.

Qatar Airways already performs code-share flights jointly with S7 Airlines to more than 30 destinations, including South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Republic of South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and other countries. In turn, S7 Airlines adds the QR code on flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to the Russian cities of its own wide route network.

Air tickets can be purchased at s7.ru, through the iPhone app or the Android app, and at any S7 sales office. You can also learn accurate flight information, book and buy tickets by calling our Contact Centre at 8 800 700–0707 (free for Russia).
