Aeroflot has resumed ticket sales in Nepal with a launch event in Kathmandu attended by the airline’s Delhi office, Russian Ambassador to Nepal Andrey Budnik, the management team of Nepal airlines, representatives of the local tourism industry and media.

A sales agreement for Aeroflot flights on Nepalese territory was signed with the Gandaki International Travels agency, which has become Aeroflot’s General Sales Agent (GSA) for Nepal. Plans are also in place to develop sales using IATA’s Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP).

Ticket sales in Nepal are being relaunched after a hiatus of two years. This will help strengthen Aeroflot’s position on the South Asian market and develop tourism in the region. Experience and bookings analysis shows that passengers from the region are particularly interested in flights to Russia, as well as Western and Eastern Europe and the US.
