Rescued girl transported to Khabarovsk by Emergency Ministry’s An-74 plane

Antonov An-74 plane of the Emergency Ministry’s Khabarovsk Air Rescue Center has transported today a 3-year-old girl to the city of Khabarovsk. The child is the only survivor of a plane crash that happened on 15 November near the settlement of Nelkan, Ayano-Maisky District. The girl accompanied by doctors of the Khabarovsk Territory Disaster Medicine Center was delivered to Khabarovsk to be examined and treated.

The girl did not get worse during the flight. Once on the ground, the girl was rushed to Khabarovsk Territory Clinical Hospital No 2 where doctors are going to use high-tech equipment to examine all of her injuries.

A light Let L410 plane crashed on landing yesterday near Nelkan. It had 7 people aboard – 5 passengers and two crew.

Investigators are working at the crash scene to find out the circumstances surrounding the crash.
