A Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet-100 has transported today three gravely ill children from the Anadyr and Khabarovsk to Moscow. The patients are in need of urgent high-tech and highly-qualified medical aid.
The Emergencies Ministry’s flying hospital is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors that allow rendering aid during the flight.
Specialists from the Tsentrospas Team of the Emergencies Ministry, the Zashchita All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center of the Russian Health Ministry and a psychologist from the Emergencies Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid accompanied the patients during the flight.
Upon arriving to Moscow, 2 patients will be delivered to the Speransky Children Hospital No.9 and one patient to the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Health Ministry for specialized and high-tech medical treatment.
