In 2018, Airborne troops are to receive over 30 BREM-D modernized armored repair-evacuation vehicles designed to recover combat capabilities of hardware and armament.

First batches of BREM-D vehicles have been introduced into the Airborne formations located in Ivanovo, Tula, and Pskov.

The repair units will use all capabilities of the special hardware during exercises of different scales.

The repair units of the Airborne troops always take part in tactical exercise in order to increase combat capabilities of air-dropped units.
