A Russian Emergency Ministry's Sukhoi Superjet 100 has successfully carried out a medical evacuation of a child from the town of Magas, Ingushetia to Moscow.

The patient is in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The jet is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, a ventilator and cardiomonitors allowing providing medical care aboard.

During the flight the child was accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team, All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and a psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.

In Moscow, the patient is going to be transported to the G.N. Speransky Children’s City Clinical Hospital No 9.
