Helicopters of the Russian military base and Armenian Air Force delivered reconnaissance units to the assigned area at the Search 2017 exercise.

The exercise process in controlled from the joint command centre deployed at the Bagramyan range.

Military control bodies as well as reconnaissance and special task units of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia, and Tajikistan are involved in the exercise.

In total, over 1,000 troops are participating in the exercise.

MiG-29 fighters covered ground force grouping from air strikes.

The exercise is headed by the Commander of the Southern MD troops Colonel General Alexander Dvornikov.
