In course of the BARS 2017 exercise, Russian and Serbian pilots conducted search-and-rescue operation and practised evacuating an ‘injured’ crew.

Army aviation of two countries conducted air reconnaissance operation in order to detect the ‘emergency’ landed helicopter.

Having detected the accident site, the Russian and Serbian Special Forces landed in order to cover the search-and-rescue unit.

Mi-8 helicopter crews also practised landing on unequipped area. Pilots of MiG-29 aircraft performed complicated individual aerobatics at nighttime.
