The Bars Russian-Serbian exercise has started in the Lipetsk aviation centre.
Crews of MiG-29 and Mi-8 aircraft are participating in the exercise. In total, up to 20 aircraft are involved.
The troops will practise intercepting air targets, close maneuvering combat, firing aviation guns at ground targets, fire extinguishing, and troops’ air lifting.
Aircraft will operate at day- and nighttime.
The Bars 2017 Russian-Serbian exercise is held in accordance with the International Military Cooperation Plan. The exercise will last until the end of week.
