Emergency Ministry’s Mi-8 helicopter carrying out medevac of seriously ill man from Moscow to St. Petersburg

A Russian Emergency Ministry’s Mil Mi-8 helicopter is carrying out a medical evacuation of a seriously ill man from the city of Moscow to Saint Petersburg.

The patient is need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The helicopter is rigged with modern equipment and a special medical module allowing providing medical care aboard.

During the flight the patient is going to be accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team.

In Saint Petersburg, the patient is going to be delivered to the Emergency Ministry’s A.M. Nikiforov All-Russian Emergency and Radiation Medicine Center.
