The Russian Government has approved assigning 2 billion rubles to the Emergencies Ministry to build and supply 6 Beriyev Be-200ChS planes.
Efficient response to natural disasters and major emergencies requires constant development of the response system and implementation of new rescue technologies. Considering vast distances and development of numerous emergencies, as well as complex working conditions for firemen and rescuers, makes implementation and usage of high-tech equipment and vehicles a top-priority.
The Emergencies Ministry pays special attention to development of modern aircraft-rescue technologies. The Emergencies Ministry’s aircraft provides rapid delivery of airmobile teams, transportation of fire and rescue equipment, vehicles and relief goods to the remote areas, as well as used in taking out wildfires and major man-caused fires, patrolling and monitoring of territories.
New aircraft significantly boosts efficiency of rescuers that protect the settlements against emergencies.
New Beriyev Be-200ChS airplanes, supplied to the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s aircraft service are new planes with new equipment. They have upgraded board equipment and modernized airframe. All the upgrades were made by the Emergencies Ministry’s recommendations.
2 Beriyev Be-200ChS Plane have been already supplied to the Emergencies Ministry this year. Crews of these planes are capable of operating on low and extremely low altitudes and speak several languages.
The Beriyev Be-200ChS airplanes proved their efficiency in taking out wildfires abroad of Russia. The Emergencies Ministry’s pilots assisted in taking out fires in Portugal, Greece, Montenegro, Israel, Indonesia and other states.
