The helicopters passed the whole complex of plant tests. The first helicopters are planned to be transferred to the Russian Aerospace Force in November.

The main feature of the Mi-28UB is a dual control system that allows to pilot helicopter both from the cockpit of the crew pilot-commander and the cockpit of the pilot-operator. Thus, Mi-28UB can be used for training military pilots. The dual control system provides the advantage in a real battle situation – in the emergency situation event the second crew member can take control over himself.

The new helicopter also helps to improve the learner's training in a crisis situation thanks to the installed bounce simulator. The device makes it possible to simulate for a trained pilot the failure of the equipment in flight.
