Cargo transport vehicle Progress МS-07 is delivered to SC ITF

RSC Energia specialists successfully performed filling of cargo transport vehicle Progress MS-07 with propellant components and compressed gases at the fuel filling station in Baikonur cosmodrome.

After filling the vehicle was delivered to the spacecraft integration and test facility (SC ITF) and installed in the jig for performing final processing operations.

According to the processing operations schedule the following activities are planned for the nearest week, namely, final cargo packing, installation on TC, designer’s inspection of the vehicle, encapsulation, transportation of the nose assembly with Progress MS-07 from SC ITF to the launch vehicle integration and test facility for final assembly with the rocket.

The launch of Progress MS-07 under the International Space Station is planned for October 12, 2017. The purpose of the flight is to deliver propellant, food, water and other consumables required for the Station operation in a man-tended mode.
